Pride 2008.

So, I went to it. Meredith O. and Blake S. and I set off in the afternoon, parked, and then roamed desperately seeking our shuttle ride to Auditorium Shores. By that time, I was getting extra-grumpy, mostly because I was ravenously hungry.

Anyways, we finally got there, I ate, we roamed around a bit, and then we three [Meredith, Blake, and I] went to our volunteer shifts. Meredith worked ID Check, while Blake and I worked the concession stand. By far, this was my favorite volunteer shift during the Fest. I worked hard, but was in the shade with lots of ice. The Dresden Dolls Live @ Stubb’s [1 June 2008].

Becca O. and I got there about an half-hour after doors, which were at 7.00PM. The first opening band, Insect Fable, had already finished up and cleared off the stage, and a playlist was blasting over the formidable speaker system.
