Life has been good to me, as of late.

I graduated. It actually happened. I held my diploma in my hands. I quickly handed it off to my family to take home, to save the diploma from myself.

Spring Break Update.

As I enter this Spring Break, this last prolonged duty-shirking free week in my forseeable future, I find myself floundering. My friends are all off to their various engagements; long nights of drunken relaxation, long days of excited bonding time, and hours and hours and hours without communication. All of this leaves me with a case of The Blahs.

Almost a month ago was our jank Vagina Monologues reading. I read several short items, like the “Happy Vagina Fact” and the “Not-So-Happy Fact”. My long piece was “The Flood”, which I specifically requested.

Kings N Things Holiday Dragstravaganza!

…was Friday night. I worked spotlight. It was pretty awesome. There was a pretty good variety of music going on, and the spotting was easy-schmeasy, except for the fact that the spot was a bit loose, so I had to keep a hand on it at pretty much all times. The night broke down as follows;

Becca O. and I got there about an half-hour after doors, which were at 7.00PM. The first opening band, Insect Fable, had already finished up and cleared off the stage, and a playlist was blasting over the formidable speaker system. We poked around; there were several street-performers out doing their things; living statues, hula-hoop-dancers, mimes, et cetera.
